Geoff is accredited with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and has been granted Emeritus Senior Litigator status. 

Geoff Silva completed a Law degree in 1992 and then passed his Law Society Finals, at Guildford Law School in 1993. He joined niche Clinical negligence and Personal Injury firm Evill and Coleman in 1993 starting in their post room. He later was encouraged to do some outdoor clerking and was subsequently offered a Training Contract. He qualified as a solicitor in February 1996. Geoff stayed at Evill and Coleman and became a Partner there, before leaving in 2003. Geoff then headed up the clinical negligence department at Colemans CTTS, now merged with national firm Simpson Millar. Geoff moved on from Colemans CTTS in 2004 to join Howe and Co where he settled his largest Clinical negligence claim (English -v- Northumbria Healthcare NHS Trust). This was a Birth Injury case that settled for circa £10 million on a conventional award basis. The terms were agreed by way of a Periodical Payment Order. He is a Trustee and Director of Baby Lifeline. Outside of work, Geoff is a 3rd Dan in Tae Kwon-Do. He has competed in national and international competitions winning medals in Sparring and Patterns. His 2 sons are also Black Belts in Tae Kwon-Do.
